Intense, Shocking, Not for the Faint Hearted

Tim's third book is a very intense and revealing read. It is not for the faint hearted. However it is a must-book for anyone who may be tampering with the paranormal, unaware of the realities in the spirit realm. EVIL realities.
Tim writes from personal experience, as he dwelt in a world of demonic visitors and evil spirit guides from the time of his youth. It all began with the death of his older brother and a chance remark at the funeral, a statement that "God took the boy."
The child Tim grew to hate God for "taking" his brother, and soon found false comfort in the deceitful and evil spirit world.
Since the startling and glorious moment when Jesus redeemed his life, Tim has been passionate about revealing the deceptive nature of the so-called paranormal: psychic, supernatural, ghostly, and future-telling realms. He strips the "Harmless" label off Satan's evil schemes and gives the reader a look at a horrible reality.

This review is by Kim Bishop author of Resistance, The Revelations -- Like Tim Thompson, God has shown me visions of the place we call hell. It's not a joke. This book shows some truths that many Christians would like to sweep under the carpet. They don't understand that demons are real and attacking always and everywhere. This book reminded me of The Screwtape Letters, a book that opened many people's eyes to the mind of demons. The format of short letters makes it a quick read, and easy to pick up and put down without losing the power of the message. I especially liked how it showed the power of prayer and the fear and destruction that it causes the demonic world. This is not a book for the close minded. It is chock full of dark, scary images that many do not want to admit actually happen outside the world of hollywood and make believe. If you are willing to put your fear in the supernatural aside and realize that God's power is mightier than the demonic host this book will give you strength and purpose in the battles of Spiritual Warfare. I especially liked the scriptures at the end of the book: scriptures to convict and scriptures to pray. I would highly recommend this book to those serious about spiritual warfare and how it is waged.

Gene A. Getz is pastor emeritus at Chase Oaks Church in Plano, Texas, and director of the Center for Church Renewal. He is the author of more than sixty books and has taught at Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary. Gene launched the Fellowship Bible Church movement in 1972. He is the author/editor of the Life Essentials Study Bible and airs a two-minute daily "Principle to Live By" on numerous radio stations. Gene has been married to his wife, Elaine, for over sixty years.
