Mirko Mataušić Ph.D. completed studies in theology in Zagreb, Croatia, and communication sciences in M�nster, Germany. In 1984, he received a doctorate from the University of Salzburg in Austria. He is a lecturer at the University of Zagreb in Croatian Studies, where he was formerly head of the Department of Communicology, and at the Catholic School of Theology in Zagreb. From 1994 to 2000, Mataušić was head of Croatian Catholic Radio. He is a Franciscan priest and active journalist. Since 2002, he has been a co-host of the radio series We Seek the Truth and, in connection with this, conducts lectures, training sessions and consultations for personal development.

Highly recommend

This book is a profound study of the intimate relationship between God and oneself. It makes one constantly aware of the presence of God in my life - from the moment of awakening to the last sense of presence before falling asleep - having the knowledge (with relief) that God is with me all through the night.
We are shown how simple life can be if only we would place ourselves entirely in God's Hands. To think too much about tomorrow, next week, or next year is a waste of time because it is only today, this hour, this minute that determines our future at the final moment of our life.
Our dependence on God should constantly be our rule of life. To know that He is with me every minute of every day, loving me, forgiving me, guiding and giving me the strength and courage to accept His Will, is beyond imagination.
This is a wonderful book to have at hand. One can pick it up and read any one or more pages at any time and be refreshed by the knowledge that God is really here at my side, caring and loving me. All I have to do is "relax" and let Him take hold of me. The peace that comes is unfathomable!
I offer only one criticism, which is crucial to enhancing the appeal of this book to the public; the cover. The drawing is very unsettling. One gets a sinister feeling of evil. Since the content of the book concerns the love of God and His relationship with man, the title is way off the mark.

This book offers easily understood integration between psychology and theology. As a psychologist, I highly recommend it to those interested in learning more about both true knowledge, and healthy self love and love for others.
